Montana: How to vote, where to vote and what’s on the ballot today

Heading to the polls in Montana today? Here’s what to know:

The deadline to register to vote, in person or with an absentee ballot, was Monday. Not sure if you are registered? Check your status here.

Download a list of polling places from this site. Your absentee ballot will be counted as long as it is postmarked by 8 p.m. local time on Election Day (which is also when polls close), or delivered to your polling location by then.

Democrats and Republicans will be asked to pick candidates for each of the state’s two congressional districts.

Depending where you live, there may also be local elections. Use this site to see sample ballots for federal primaries. Ballot samples for municipal, school or special elections are not available.
