'Pinnacle of my career' – Lane dominates Bourke to win British Bantamweight title
“Ashley Lane put on a dominant performance to stop Chris Bourke in the sixth round at York Hall in London on Friday night to become the new British Bantamweight champion. Lane recovered from a slow start and a cut above his eye to smother Bourke with a flurry of shots in round six as the referee stepped in to stop the bout. After winning the title, Lane said it was the “pinnacle of my career”.”
