Sylvester Stallone had Navy SEALs train his daughters

To live in the Big Apple, they had to train like Rambo.

Sylvester Stallone was so nervous about his daughters Sophia and Sistine living in NYC that he hired Navy SEALs to train them in self-defense — and even had them chase chickens Rocky-style.

“It was the hardest. It was about six hours we were in those woods,” Sistine, 25, told The Post ahead of Season 2 of “The Family Stallone,” which premieres on Feb. 22.

“Sophia and I got our asses whooped by these guys. They were the real deal,” she said.

“And I’m not surprised my dad put us through something like this because our entire life we grew up with him doing these sort of military-esque, self-defense trainings.”

The girls even had a morning regime with dad as kids.

“It was a rigorous routine. Every day at 6 a.m., he would make us eat eggs with ketchup. For some reason, that combination … to bulk up,” said Sophia, 27.

“But then it was a lot of sit ups, push ups, pull ups, clean and jerks.”

“He made the perfect boys,” quipped Sistine.

Their recent training — which was filmed for the Paramount+ reality series — included chasing a chicken, reminiscent of the scene in “Rocky II” where Sly’s character does the same.

“That is deceivingly hard. I went in there a little cocky, no pun intended,” said Sistine. “I got beat by the chicken.”

The youngest, Scarlet, 21, a junior in college, did not have to partake in the boot camp, since she lives in Miami. “I was so happy I was not involved,” she said.

But she does come to New York to visit and recalled a memorable moment involving a large rodent.

“The first time Sistine and I were getting to know the city . . . She steps on when I say a rat … it was the size of a mini dog,” she said.

“We were screaming, running.”

The trio, who grew up in Los Angeles, said the fact that they’re newbies to the Big Apple could be part of the vermin problem.

“New York rats can smell the L.A. girl from us,” joked Sistine.

Although they’ve now been living in the city for a year, the girls said their East Coast residence is still nerve-racking for their dad, a native of Hell’s Kitchen.

“I don’t think he’ll ever be less nervous,” said Sistine. “He’s like a classic, overprotective dad. Three daughters at an age where, you know, we’re kind of all over the place and we’re out and about.”

Sly, 77, can rest a little easier knowing his wife, former model Jennifer Flavin, 55, can see their locations at all times.

“It helps that my mom tracks us on Find My Friends [app] so they know where we are,” said Sophia.

His youngest, however, does not want to be located. “I turned mine off,” said Scarlet.

The girls stay connected to their parents, who recently moved to Palm Beach, Fla., through their family’s text chat, where their mom messages the most.

“She sends us [a picture of] her dinner every night,” said Scarlet.

“And photos of my dad sleeping on the couch with the cat, probably on his head,” continued Sistine.

“The cat only goes up to him when he’s sleeping,” Sophia added.
